A Xiaomi phone with model number M261DB has passed China’s 3C certification. The listing went live on November 6 and shows support for 100W fast charging. According to the report, the M261DB is the standard Xiaomi 18. The blogger expects Xiaomi to announce it next month.
Xiaomi has not confirmed any of this. The certification record does not name the phone or give a launch date. For now, the link to the Xiaomi 18 is a tip.

This follows the Xiaomi 18 Pro series launch on September 23. The standard model was missing from that event. Xiaomi did confirm that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch globally this year. It has said nothing yet about a global plan for the base model.
What we know about the Xiaomi 18 so far
At the Pro launch, a Weibo user asked Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group partner and president, about the standard Xiaomi 18. He replied that it will be released separately later. That confirms the phone exists.
Digital Chat Station gave a timeline in August. The tipster said the Pro models would go first and the standard version would follow in December. A 3C listing in early November fits that window. Phones often clear this step a few weeks before they launch.

As for specs, you should get a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, a 200MP sensor, and a 7,200mAh battery. Xiaomi has not confirmed any of these specs. We covered the leaked details shortly after the Pro launch.
Xiaomi was the first to ship the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in the Xiaomi 18 Pro. It has a 6.4-inch screen with the M11 display system and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The chip is built on a 2nm process, and the battery is 7,000mAh. You get three Leica cameras covering all focal lengths. Xiaomi also added hardware-level privacy protection.
If the leaks hold, the standard Xiaomi 18 would carry a battery 200mAh larger than the Xiaomi 18 Pro. It would also share the same chip. We will update this story when Xiaomi shares a launch date.
