Now, the latest rumor takes the S25’s capabilities to a whole new level, claiming that it will be capable of running Genshin Impact at a smooth 120FPS. This is a significant feat, considering that even many modern flagship devices struggle to maintain 60FPS on this demanding game.
Galaxy S25 series will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Thanks to its AI-powered frame generation, achieving higher FPS during gameplay will be much easier. Considering modern Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 devices can play Genshin Impact at 60 FPS, the new rumors promise double the gaming performance actually. This technology is similar to AMD’s FSR and Nvidia’s DLSS.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be unveiled in October 2024. However, AI-powered frame generation may not work with every game, as developers need to adapt this technology for their titles.
