ViewSonic has recently launched a new 27-inch 2K gaming monitor in China called the ViewSonic VX2779-2K-PRO-W. The monitor comes in a white color finish with slim bezels on three sides.

The VX2779-2K-PRO-W monitor features a high-resolution 2560 x 1440 display on a Fast IPS panel, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals. The monitor covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports HDR10, offering rich colors and deep contrasts.
Being a gaming monitor, it offers a refresh rate of 185Hz via DisplayPort and an ultra-fast 1ms GTG response time for smooth and responsive gameplay. The hardware-level low blue light feature helps reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions. With a typical brightness of 300cd/m² and wide viewing angles of 178° horizontally and vertically, the monitor delivers consistent image quality from various angles.
The monitor’s stand supports tilt adjustments and is compatible with a 75mm x 75mm wall mount, offering flexibility in setup. It features native 8-bit color depth and is powered by an external 12V/3A power supply. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DP 1.4 port, and an audio-out port.

ViewSonic has launched the VX2779-2K-PRO-W gaming monitor in its domestic market of China for 1,099 yuan (~$151). Currently, there are no details on a global launch timeframe.
