A plethora of smartphones are expected to launch in July 2024. Most of these handsets will be mid-rangers and will make their debut in China.

At the same time, there will be some foldables as well. Samsung will take wraps off its annual refresh of Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip series. On the other hand, Xiaomi is anticipated to debut its first-ever clamshell foldable alongside its fourth-gen fold.

Further, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has confirmed to release its first smartphone. Then, there will be a proper flagship from Realme in a long time.

These and several other phones will be made official in the next few weeks. Let’s take a look at them one by one.

Upcoming Smartphones in July 2024

1. Red Magic 9S Pro Series

The Red Magic 9S Pro series is scheduled to launch in China on July 3 in China. It will be a mid-gen refresh of Red Magic 9 Pro series.

There will be two devices, namely Red Magic 9S Pro and Red Magic 9S Pro Plus. Both of them will mostly differ in terms of battery capacity and charging speed while sharing the rest of the specs.

They will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version. This chipset is nothing but an overclocked version (3.4Ghz) found inside the Galaxy S24 series as Sanapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.

2. CMF Phone 1

CMF, the sub-brand of CMF, has scheduled an event for July 8. The company will unveil its inaugural smartphone at this conference called CMF Phone 1.

This device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It will be the first handset in India to feature this chip.

As per leaks, the product will arrive with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, a 50MP rear camera, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W charging support. 

3. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6

Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024 will take place on July 10. The company will announce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at this conference.

The latest foldables from the firm will come with minor upgrades over their predecessors. There will be some minute changes in design and specs.

Both of them will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. The Flip 6 will feature a new 50MP primary camera and a larger 4,000mAh battery.

4. Oppo Reno 12 Series

The Oppo Reno 12 series is set to launch in India in July. However, the exact date is not known as of writing this article.

The global lineup consists of two devices, namely Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. These products are different from their Chinese counterparts and comes with several AI features.

The duo is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display. They have the same 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide unit. However, the Pro version gets a 50MP 2x telephoto snapper and a 50MP selfie camera.

5. iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus is confirmed to launch in China in July. The date is not out as of writing this article.

As the name suggests, the phone will be an upgraded version of iQOO Neo 9 Pro. As per leaks, it will be not only faster but also arrive with a few useful features.

The device is tipped to offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, a 50MP + 50MP dual rear camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a 5,500mAh battery.

6. Realme GT 6

The Realme GT 6 is set to launch in China in July. It will be the brand’s first proper flagship smartphone in a long while.

The device will be different from the GT 6 available in global markets. It will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip instead of a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Soc.

The handset will come with a 1.5K LTPO flat OLED display, a metal frame, a 50MP primary camera, a 6,000mAh battery, and 100W charging support.

7. Honor 200 Series

The Honor 200 series is expected to launch in India in July. The brand is said to release both Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro in the region.

These handsets sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K curved OLED display, a 50MP (wide) + 50MP (2.5x telephoto) + 12MP (ultrawide) triple camera system, and a 5,200mAh battery.

The vanilla model is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, while the pro version is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

8. Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G

The Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G is anticipated to launch in India in July. The product is the only 5G-enabled smartphone in the Spark 20 series.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset and sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz display (LCD). It comes with a 108MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and dual stereo speakers.

It draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W wired charging.

9. Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip

Xiaomi is rumored to launch its next-gen foldable Mix Fold 4 in July. It is said to be accompanied by the company’s first clamshell foldable dubbed Mix Flip.

The Mix Fold 4 is tipped to arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 5,000mAh battery, 67W charging support, and a qua-camera system comprising zoom lenses. It will offer satellite connectivity and a better folding mechanism.

Whereas the Xiaomi Mix Flip will sport an edge-to-edge cover screen like the Honor Magic V Flip. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will support 67W charging. It will sport a 50MP + 60MP (2x telephoto) dual camera setup.

10. Redmi K70 Ultra

The Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to launch alongside Xiaomi’s new foldables in July. The brand has already started teasing this product officially.

The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chip paired with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. It will sport a 1.5K 144Hz OLED display and a metal frame.

It is tipped to come with a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup, a 5,500Ah battery, and 120W charging support.
