Sharp-eyed gamers have spotted a curious development on the Xbox store. Foreign media outlet Gamerant has discovered a “Play with GeForce Now” button appearing for certain games, including “Resident Evil 8: Village” and “Street Fighter 6.”

Microsoft and Nvidia might have a bigger collaboration on the way

This has fueled speculation that Microsoft may be preparing to integrate cloud gaming services directly into the Xbox ecosystem. GeForce Now, a cloud gaming platform by NVIDIA, could potentially allow Xbox players to access these titles without needing downloads.

As previously reported, ten new games were added to the GeForce Now library this month, including the aforementioned “Resident Evil 8: Village” and “Street Fighter 6.” This alignment with the “Play with GeForce Now” button sightings further strengthens the possibility of an official announcement from Microsoft.

While the exact timeline remains unclear, it’s expected that Microsoft will formally unveil Xbox’s support for cloud gaming services within the next few months. Whether this integration will extend to offering GeForce Now within the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (XGPU) subscription remains to be seen.
