Earlier this month, Oppo announced the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro for the global market. Both were the first phones powered by the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset. According to reports, the Reno 12 family also includes the Reno 12F 5G and 4G versions. In Thailand, the Chinese manufacturer unveiled the Reno 12F 5G. The Oppo Reno 12F 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and up to a maximum brightness of up to 2,100 nits. It comes integrated with a fingerprint sensor and is shielded by a layer of AGC DT-Star 2 protection.
Under the hood, the Reno 12F 5G features the Dimensity 6300 chipset, 8GB / 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256 GB / 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging. The phone runs on ColorOS 14.0.1-based Android 14. It comes with support for Oppo AI features for enhanced photography, better connectivity, and productivity.
