In addition, the brand’s official website has dedicated landing pages for the Reno 12 and 12 Pro. Both listings revealed their configurations and color options well before the launch event.

While the Reno 12 has a dual-curved screen, the Pro variant features a quad-curved display. The brand has already confirmed that both phones will have a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The Reno 12 series’ other details for the Indian market are likely to be the same as those of the Reno 12 and 12 Pro, which are available in other markets outside of China.

The Oppo Reno 12 series will have several AI-powered features, such as the AI Best Face feature, which recognises human expressions, and corrects closed eyes in photos, while the AI Eraser 2.0 uses generative AI to remove background distractions with high accuracy. AI Studio transforms photos into digital avatars, while AI Clear Face enhances facial details in group shots. For productivity, AI Summary and AI Record Summary provide concise content overviews and meeting summaries in English and Hindi. AI Clear Voice reduces background noise for clearer calls, and AI Writer assists with sentence completion and grammar corrections. Efficiency is further boosted with AI LinkBoost and BeaconLink, optimizing network use and ensuring clear Bluetooth calls during outages.
