HMD Global, through its partnership with Nokia, has launched two new feature phones in India—the Nokia 235 4G and the Nokia 220 4G. These launches come shortly after the introduction of the updated Nokia 3210 (2024), emphasizing Nokia’s focus on the feature phone market.

The Nokia 235 4G (2024) is equipped with a 2.8-inch IPS display and a 2MP rear camera. It operates on a Unisoc T107 processor and the Nokia S30+ operating system. The device includes 64MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It features a 1450mAh removable battery, capable of up to 9.8 hours of talk time.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, a headphone jack, and USB-C for charging. The phone also supports basic apps like an MP3 player, FM radio, cloud apps, and allows access to news and weather updates, YouTube Shorts, and the classic Snake game. It also comes with Scan & Pay UPI apps for easy digital payments.

The Nokia 220 4G shares most of the Nokia 235 4G’s specs but does not have a camera. It supports UPI applications that are approved by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), which simplifies digital transactions.

Pricing and Where to Buy

The Nokia 235 4G is available for Rs. 3,749 in three colors: Blue, Black, and Purple. The Nokia 220 4G is priced at Rs. 3,249 and comes in Peach and Black. Both models are available starting today on HMD’s website, Amazon.in, and at retail locations across India.

In related news, HMD Global has also recently launched new feature phones under its own brand name, called the HMD 105 and HMD 110. These feature phones also come with built-in UPI functionality, as well as large displays and a voice assistant onboard. They will be available in India starting June 11.
