Tipster Digital Chat Station has shed some light on the camera configurations of the upcoming Oppo Find X8 series smartphones. The leak details the camera systems for both the standard Find X8 and the higher-end Find X8 Pro.

The Find X8 which the tipster referred to as “medium cup” will sport a triple-camera system with a single periscope telephoto lens. The main sensor will reportedly be a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size. The details of the other two cameras remain unknown.

Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra Camera Specifications

The “big cup” likely referring to the Find X8 Pro will have a quad-camera setup with two periscope telephoto lenses. Similar to the standard model, the Find X8 Pro is also said to feature a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size. Reportedly, it’s the same Sony LYT-808 sensor as the Find X7.

The leak further specifies that the new periscope module utilizes the Sony IMX882 sensor (also known as LYT600), which has a size of 1/1.953 inches.

Additionally, previous reports suggest that the standard Oppo Find X8 will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 processor and will feature a 1.5K resolution flat display. The battery is expected to range between 5100mAh and 5500mAh.

The Pro model, on the other hand, is rumored to have a 2.7D curved display. Likewise, both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are expected to feature a glass back and are expected to arrive in October of this year.

Oppo also released an Ultra model in the Find X7 line. Naturally, we are expecting it to be succeeded by Find X8 Ultra. This model will likely include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, though it is rumored to arrive sometime next year.
