Honor has announced the Honor Play 60 Plus in China. It has arrived as the successor to last year’s Honor Play 50 Plus handset, which featured a 90Hz display, the Dimensity 6020 chipset, and a 6,000mAh battery. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of the Play 60 Plus.

The Honor Play 60 Plus has a 6.77-inch LCD screen that produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1610 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset powers the Honor Play 60 Plus. Even though it is a mid-range phone, it ships with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In addition, it packs a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 35W rapid charging.

The Play 60 Plus runs on Magic OS-based Android 14 and offers 8 GB of virtual RAM. It is equipped with other features, such as a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset measures 166.9 x 76.8 x 8.24mm and weighs 198 grams. Lastly, the device offers IP64-rated dust and water resistance. In addition, the device has passed the Swiss SGS 5-start rating for drop and squeeze resistance certification.

The Honor Play 60 Plus has arrived in China in two options, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The prices of these variants are 1,499 Yuan (~$206) and 1,699 Yuan (~$234), respectively. It comes in three colors, such as Phantom Night Black, Moon Shadow White, and Wonderland Green.
