Additionally, this model features a 3nm AP chipset for better power efficiency and smoother operation. It also has the BioActiveSensor2 for more accurate heart rate measurements during exercise and sleep. The Galaxy Watch 7 will act as a daily AI companion, providing AI-powered support for sleep, exercise, and communication. It also includes Galaxy AI smart reply to help with messaging on the watch.

According to the Amazon listing, the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 is set to go on sale on July 16th. The watch will be priced at $358.55 CAD, which is roughly equivalent to $299 USD. The Samsung Unpacked event is expected to take place on July 10, 2024.

In related news, Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2500 chips meant for the Galaxy S25 series smartphones are in trouble due to the low yield of Samsung Foundry’s second-generation 3 nm process (SF3). Industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Samsung might have to entirely rely on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 if the yield problems continue. That said, Samsung is not yet ready to give up on the chip, with October likely being the deadline to improve its yields from the current 20%, all the way up to 60%, which is the minimum requirement for mass-producing the chips.
