Vivo is working on a new Y-series smartphone. The upcoming offering has now been spotted on the Google Play Console certification site with model number V2346. The listing confirms the phone’s moniker. Previously, the Vivo Y28s 5G was spotted on Geekbench, BIS, and CQC. The latest development also gives us a look at the upcoming smartphone.

As per the placeholder render on the Google Play Console certification, the Vivo Y28s 5G is seen with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout display and thick bezels. The back panel has a rectangular camera island with curved corners. The smartphone is seen in a Pink color option with a gradient design. 

The Vivo Y28s 5G is listed with a MediaTek MT6835 system on chip on the Google Play Console certification. It comprises two A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six A55 cores at 2GHz along with a Mali G57 GPU. This suggests that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor onboard. The upcoming offering will pack 4GB RAM and we can expect more options at launch. Software-wise, it will ship with Android 14 OS. 

As per the certification listing, the Vivo Y28s 5G will feature a display resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a screen density of 300 dpi. This is everything that Google Play Console reveals about the device. 

The Geekbench listing revealed that the Vivo Y28s 5G will come with 8GB RAM. Meanwhile, the CQC certification mentioned support for 15W charging. Apart from this, the device was also spotted on NCC with a 5,000mAh battery unit and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It has also bagged NBTC certification. 

The Vivo Y28s 5G could launch very soon considering the certifications it has bagged.
