The Arrival of the Redmi Note 14 Series
The Redmi Note 14 series is planned to be officially launched in September. With only 2.5 months to go until the launch, the anticipation is growing. The model numbers of the smartphones have appeared in the IMEI database, confirming the regions where the Note 14 series will be available.

These model numbers represent the Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G. The prefix “2409” in the model numbers refers to the launch date, confirming that the series will be introduced in September. Starting in China, the smartphones will then be launched in other markets around the world.
Also, the Redmi Note 14 series has appeared in HyperOS source code. The top-end model, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, has the internal model number “O16U” and the codename “amethyst“. This is in line with the tradition of naming the Redmi Note series with gemstones; amethyst is a transparent variety of quartz typically found in purple hues. The codenames of the Redmi Note 14 5G and Note 14 Pro 5G have not yet been detected.
As expected, these devices will come out of the box with HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14. Following the Note 14 series, the Xiaomi 15 series will be introduced in October.
