Viewsonic has announced a new 4K IPS monitor in China. The Viewsonic VX2759-4K-PRO is a new high-resolution, high-refresh, and hardware-level low-blue light gaming monitor. It has a 27-inch IPS panel that achieves a high refresh rate of 160Hz. The monitor is being promoted as offering full blood and full e-sports combat power.
The Viewsonic VX2759-4K-PRO integrates a new generation Fast IPS fast LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Apart from its high native refresh rate, the gaming monitor has a 1ms GTG response time and is compatible with FreeSync and G-Sync adaptive refresh rate. Additionally, the new Viewsonic gaming monitor is HDR 400 certified. The monitor utilizes hardware low blue light technology that effectively reduces the amount of harmful blue light below 50%. Clarity of the display is guaranteed with its 163 PPI while it covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% sRGB.
The Viewsonic VX2759-4K-PRO is designed ergonomically and supports ergonomic lifting and rotation functions. There are two HDMI 2.1 interfaces in the monitor, as well as two DP 1.4 ports, USB-A 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Viewsonic monitor is currently being offered at a launch price of 2,099 yuan ($289) and can be purchased from JD.com. Viewsonic has not provided any details yet on the global availability of the monitor. However, it is expected that the product will subsequently ship to a sprinkling of overseas markets.
