Lenovo has launched a new tablet, the Lenovo Tab Plus, targeting users who prioritize multimedia experience with great audio quality. Let’s check out its specifications.

The tablet boasts an 11.5-inch 2K LCD display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and 2000 x 1200 resolution. The display can reach up to 400 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Tab Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor built on a 6nm process. The graphics is handled by an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The tablet comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and is available in either 128GB or 256GB storage configurations. Storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.

On the software side, the Lenovo Tab Plus runs Android 14 out of the box and is promised to receive software upgrades for the next 2 years along with security patches for 4 years, ensuring a relatively up-to-date experience.

The Tab Plus features an 8MP autofocus rear camera with Full HD video recording capabilities. On the front, an 8MP camera allows for video calls and selfies.

In terms of battery life, the tablet packs an 8600mAh battery that can provide up to 12 hours of video streaming. It also supports 45W fast charging, which can fully charge the device in 90 minutes.

The audio experience is the centerpiece of the Lenovo Tab Plus. The Lenovo Tab Plus features a total of eight JBL speakers, including four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers housed in four separate speaker boxes for a total volume of 22cc. These speakers are tuned by Dolby Atmos and support high-resolution audio playback at 24-bit and 96kHz when using headphones. The tablet can also transform into a Bluetooth speaker, allowing users to stream audio wirelessly from a connected device like a smartphone.

The tablet also comes with an integrated kickstand that offers up to 175 degrees of viewing flexibility for comfortable positioning while watching videos or listening to music.

Other features of the Lenovo Tab Plus include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The tablet is IP52-rated for dust and water resistance, offering some protection against the elements.

The tablet is also compatible with several optional accessories, including the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus for note-taking and drawing, the Lenovo Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard for productivity tasks, and a protective sleeve made with Dupont Tyvek material and PU leather.

The Lenovo Tab Plus comes in Luna Grey and starts at a price of $289.99/€279. Lenovo has started rolling out the tablet in select markets globally, though the specific markets have not been disclosed.
