Chinese tech giant Xiaomi continues to introduce affordable devices. The company is preparing to unveil the Redmi 14C 5G. Gizmochina has spotted the new smartphone in the IMEI database and it’s expected to be a more advanced smartphone compared to the previous Redmi 13C 5G.

Xiaomi will launch the new member of the Redmi series, the Redmi 14C 5G. The existence of the smartphone has been officially confirmed with our database. This suggests that the Redmi 14C 5G will be released in the near future. The Redmi 14C 5G is expected to offer some improvements and enhancements compared to its predecessor, the Redmi 13C 5G. With the Redmi 14C 5G, Xiaomi is trying to increase competition against other brands’ budget-friendly devices.
The Redmi 14C 5G will be available in four models for different markets: “2411DRN47G“, “2411DRN47R“, “2411DRN47I” and “2411DRN47C“. G stands for “Global”, R for “Japan”, I for “India” and C for “China”. These are variations of the devices by region. Let’s not forget to mention this. For the first time, Xiaomi will introduce a C series smartphone in Japan.
Redmi 13C 5G featured an IPS LCD display with a size of 6.74 inches and a refresh rate of 90Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, 5G connectivity support, a 50MP main camera and a 5MP front camera. Redmi 14C 5G is expected to come with similar features and hardware. However, the specifications of the Redmi 14C 5G are unknown.
As for the launch date of the device, its predecessor Redmi 13C 5G was officially announced in December 2023. The new Redmi 14C 5G is expected to be launched on a similar date.
