HMD Global has unveiled its first set of self-branded phones in India and they are two feature phones dubbed HMD 105 and HMD 110. The launch happens to be the first for HMD since it started a migration from using the Nokia brand to its brand.

The HMD 105 and HMD 110 both feature a built-in UPI application that delivers both reliability and convenience. The UPI integration in the new feature phones will allow users to perform secure and seamless UPI for transactions without the need for internet access. The two phones come with a premium design that highlights strong corners, serene curves, and texturized surfaces. They are crafted to be comfortable in hand and conveniently portable.

The introduction of the HMD 105 and HMD 110 in India marks a milestone for the Nokia phone brand licensee. It underscores the brand’s commitment to accessibility and human innovation. HMD says the phones are packed with several features that are designed to enhance the user experience. They are sleek and reliable phones that come with advanced multimedia features, a voice assistant, and large displays. The display of the new HMD feature phones delivers immersive clarity and enhanced visibility.

HMD 105

The phones are equipped with a 1,000mAh battery that is capable of an extended standby time of 18 days. The inner frame of the device adds durability to the outer covers. The phones offer multiple language support with up to 23 languages supported.

The HMD 105 and 110 phones in India come with a one-year replacement guarantee. The feature-packed models aim to bridge the digital divide and enhance financial access within the lower end of the economic spectrum in India. HMD India says these phones embody their philosophy of delivering quality at an affordable price.

The HMD 105 will be available from June 11 and customers can choose from black, purple, or blue color variants. The HMD 110 will be available in two color options – black and green. The feature phones can be purchased directly from HMD or via some selected retail platforms in the subcontinent.
