Huawei has introduced a new update for its Pura 70 Ultra smartphones, aimed at resolving issues related to device overheating. This patch follows earlier updates that enhanced camera functions and integrated the May 2024 security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.
Recent reports from users indicated that the Pura 70 Ultra was overheating even during regular use. In response, Huawei has quickly deployed an EMUI system patch designated as version 14.2.0.161, the same as the previous update but with a file size of 2.61MB.

- System Stability: Although no new features are added in this patch, users might notice improved stability and performance post-installation.
How to Install the Update:
- Navigate to Settings > System and Updates > Software Updates on your device.

The Pura 70 Ultra features a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. It has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
It runs on a Kirin 9010 chip and includes a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired charging 80W wireless charging, and 20W reverse wireless charging.
The Pura 70 Ultra’s camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with a retractable lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus.
