Xiaomi is actively rolling out its new HyperOS operating system to all of the eligible devices. After recently rolling out the update to the POCO X4 GT, the brand has now made the update available for global users of the Mi 10 Pro.

The Mi 10 Pro is more than four years old at this point as it made its debut in February 2020. The smartphone was launched with Android 10 onboard and received Android 13 as its last update. That being said, the brand has decided to treat users with the HyperOS update. That being said, there is a catch. HyperOS is the brand’s latest software based on Android 14. However, older devices like the Mi 10 Pro are getting an Android 13-based HyperOS build. Nonetheless, there are many improvements with this update which comes with firmware version 1.0.1.0.TJAEUXM.

The update is already available in China and is being pushed to EU users and other regions. If the OTA update notification has not popped on your device yet, you can manually check for it by navigating to Settings > About Phone > Tap on MIUI 14.
