Xiaomi has quietly launched a new Redmi phone in the European market. It is the Redmi 13 4G. The device arrives as the successor to the last year’s Redmi 12. The latest offering retains the same design but packs upgrades compared to its predecessor. In other news, the Xiaomi sub-brand recently launched the Redmi Pad Pro in the global markets. Redmi 13 4G specifications and features 

The Redmi 13 4G has the same design with two protruding camera sensors on the back panel and a LED flash unit. The phone is IP53-certified dust and water-resistant. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. On the front, the Redmi 13 4G features a 6.79-inch display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. 

On the optics front, the  Redmi 13 4G has dual rear cameras comprising of a 108MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens. The former is upgraded from 50MP on its predecessor. However, the latest offering lacks an ultra-wide-angle unit. There is also an upgraded 13MP selfie snapper on the front. 

Under the hood, the Redmi 13 4G is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset. It packs up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device draws its power from a slightly bumped battery unit of 5,030mAh with support for 33W fast charging. The smartphone runs on HyperOS-based Android 14 OS out of the box. 

The Redmi 13 4G starts at EUR 199.99 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and EUR 229.99 for the 8GB + 256GB option. It is available in select European markets and offered in Blue, Pink, Gold, and Black colors.
