Xiaomi Magnetic (Magsafe) Power bank with a 5000mAh capacity launched for 129 yuan ($18)

Xiaomi has released a new magnetic power bank in China. The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh 7.5W is now available from Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, and other online platforms. The power bank utilizes magnetic safe charging technology via its 10N magnetic suction force. Thanks, to its automatic induction technology, there is no need to press a button to charge an iPhone wirelessly. It delivers precise absorption and is designed specifically for iPhone models from iPhone 12 and later.

Features

The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh has automatic wireless charging sensing and charges the connected device with just one suction. It features USB-C two-way fast charging and comes in a slim design. It is 12mm thick and does not block the iPhone lens while charging, so the smartphone can be used during charging. As indicated in its name, the magnetic power bank has a power capacity of 7.5W and can provide a maximum wired charging speed of 18W. The maximum input power of the power bank is 20W and it can be fully charged in 2.2 hours.

When utilizing both wired and wireless charging, the power bank delivers a charging speed of 10W for both outlets. During self-charging, the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh 7.5W supports wireless charging only. Xiaomi says the power bank can fully recharge an iPhone 15 only once, serving as a backup battery for the smartphone. There are two NTC thermistors on the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh. The hardware works with the built-in software to form a temperature control system that can actively adjust the power as the temperature changes.

The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh 7.5W is priced at 129 yuan ($18). Availability is tied currently to China but the model could subsequently be available in other markets.
