An affordable Samsung Galaxy Watch has been rumoured plenty of times in the past. It is likely expected to debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 series and the Galaxy Ring. Speculations are rife that the South Korean brand could announce an FE version of the Galaxy Watch but it is tipped to be called the Galaxy Watch 4. Now, as per a new report, the affordable Galaxy Watch has been spotted on the official support pages of Samsung’s UK and Latin America websites.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE appears on official support pages

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is listed on Samsung UK and Samsung North America websites with the model number SM-R861. This hints at its imminent launch. Notably, the TDRA certification (via) of the same smartwatch confirmed the Galaxy Watch FE moniker. The latest development i.e. the support pages do not reveal any key details of the upcoming wearable device. But it does strengthen the arrival of an affordable Galaxy Watch.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE with model number SM-R861 was also spotted on the FCC website recently. It revealed support for 5W wireless charging. Another report revealed that the upcoming wearable will be available in the US, Korea, and global markets. A well-known tipster Evan Blass had also shared a list of the upcoming Samsung products that included the Galaxy Watch FE.

While the chances of getting an affordable Galaxy Watch seem stronger now, the confusion remains if Samsung will name it as Galaxy Watch FE or Galaxy Watch 4 (2024). This is because the latter also has the same SM-R860 model number.
