There are indications that the Xiaomi S3 series of smartwatches may be getting a new model soon. A new Xiaomi smartwatch has gotten the 3C certification, indicating an imminent product launch.

The 3C certification is among the certifications obtained before the product’s final release. While the 3C listing did not list the device’s name, it is tipped as a Watch S3 series model. The certification page did reveal the device’s charging rating and other details. According to the details extracted from the 3C website, the new Xiaomi smartwatch has the model number M2312W1 and supports 10W charging.

The Xiaomi Watch S3 already launched with a 1.43-inch AMOLED colorful large screen with a 10Hz refresh rate, 326 PPI, and 600 nits of maximum brightness. It offers 256 automatic brightness levels and comes with the industry’s first variable design. The color and style of the bezel can be removed and replaced when needed. The watch will automatically sense and trigger an exclusive customized dial, offering various style combinations for the watch. The smartwatch is equipped with the Unisoc W117 chip with a built-in LPDDR2, 1.0GHz A7 CPU core with support for complete eSIM/ eSIM independent communication. Users can use the network independently without connecting to a mobile phone.

Xiaomi Watch 3C

The Xiaomi Watch S3 runs on the Surge OS with a seamless connection to the Xiaomi smart ecosystem. One major highlight of the smartwatch is the ability to unlock the Xiaomi SU7 Electric Vehicle. With the ability to unlock the SU7, Xiaomi may be looking to expand its ecosystem of connected devices to its new SUV. There are no official details yet regarding the launch date and price of the new Xiaomi Watch model at this time.
