Nothing is apparently planning on launching a new smartphone in India soon. Now, a fresh sighting on the BIS certification has hinted that this model could be a brand-new version of the existing Nothing Phone (2a). So here are all the details.

The brand’s upcoming smartphone was seen on the BIS certification carrying the A142P model number. To recall, the original Nothing Phone (2a) launched with the A142 model number. So this is likely a new version of the Phone (2a). Unfortunately, this certification did not reveal any other details regarding this device like its specs, features, and design. But the BIS listing does confirm its Indian availability.

To recall, the Nothing Phone (2a) sports a tall 6.72-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The front also houses a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls, while the rear features a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro, which is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
