Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi A3x in Pakistan. This new device is an entry-level smartphone with a budget price tag, and now, a new certification sighting hints that it is coming to the Indian market as well. So here are all the details.

The Chinese tech giant’s upcoming A3x Indian model surfaced on the Google Play Console database. This listing confirmed that it carries the 24048RN6CI model number. The “I” signifies the Indian variant, unlike the 24048RN6CG which is for the global market. Unfortunately, the certification does not reveal any finer details regarding the new budget phone.

However, we have more details thanks to its previous announcement. To recall, the 6.71-inch IPS LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it is equipped with the UNISOC T603 processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You can even expand storage by up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

For optics, there is an 8-megapixel dual AI camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 15W wired fast charging. It runs on the Android 14 OS out of the box and comes with a side mounted fingerprint scanner for security and a 3.5mm audio jack. The brand launched the Redmi A3x in Pakistan for 18,999 PKR, so we can expect it to cost around 6,000 INR in the Indian market.
