TP-LINK has upgraded its router catalog with two new models, the BE3600 (TL-7DR3650 Easy Exhibition Edition) and BE5100 (TL-7DR5150 Easy Exhibition Edition), both available for pre-order now at prices starting at 279 yuan (around $40 USD). The company also recently launched the BE7200 router, check out our coverage of the same here.

The BE5100 supports Wi-Fi 7, a new faster, developing standard in wireless data

The BE3600 takes a performance-first approach. Its MLO multi-link technology with multi-frequency overlay transmission delivers speeds up to 5.2 times faster than traditional single-band routers. Built-in accelerators from various providers further enhance gaming performance on consoles and PCs.

TP-LINK’s Xtra Range 2.0 technology extends the reach of the 5GHz band by 4.5 meters or allows it to penetrate an additional wall. This technology also improves weak signal analysis, leading to better performance at the edges of your network.

For flexible connectivity, the BE3600 boasts customizable port functions, dual WAN ports for internet redundancy, IPTV support, port aggregation for combining bandwidth, and dedicated gaming ports. Additionally, the “Yizhan” button simplifies the creation of a MESH network with multiple routers for seamless whole-home Wi-Fi coverage.

The BE5100 represents a leap forward with support for the next generation of Wi-Fi technology, Wi-Fi 7. This router features a unique design that separates digital and analog chips. The 6nm process in the digital chip enhances efficiency, while the five front-end modules (FEMs) in the analog chip provide a stronger signal. This, combined with 3×3 MIMO technology, promises significant improvements in signal strength and data transmission compared to traditional routers.

Whether you prioritize raw performance, extensive coverage, or future-proofing your network with Wi-Fi 7, TP-LINK’s new BE3600 and BE5100 routers offer compelling options.
