Vivo has launched the new Vivo Watch 3, featuring a stylish black metal case and leather strap. This latest model, presented alongside the Vivo X100 Ultra smartphone, now includes an electrocardiogram (ECG) to check for heart rhythm irregularities.

The new ECG feature completes checks in just 30 seconds and is primarily designed to spot conditions like atrial fibrillation. Alongside ECG, the Vivo Watch 3 continues to offer heart rate and blood oxygen level monitoring, supports over 100 sports modes, and tracks cycling and sleep patterns.

The watch features a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel, with an Always-on display and up to 100 different watch faces to choose from. The battery life of the Vivo Watch 3 lasts up to 16 days under normal use but drops to about three days when using the always-on display and LTE features. The watch includes NFC for contactless payments and a built-in GPS that works independently of a smartphone.

Availability and Pricing

The Vivo Watch 3 ECG version is currently only available in China priced at 1,499 yuan ($207). The price is expected to rise to 1,699 yuan after the initial offer period ends ($235).
