OnePlus has released the Android 15 Beta 1 update for OnePlus Open, and OnePlus 12. While Android 15 may not bring major improvements, it’s definitely worth trying out. Android 15 update is finally here for OnePlus 12 and OnePlus users, but it’s important to note this is OnePlus’ first Beta release. Keep in mind that backing up your data is essential before installing any Beta software on your main device.

Android 15 Beta 1 for OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Open

OnePlus announced the Android 15 update first on the OnePlus Community website. OnePlus has published a list of known bugs, and the Android 15 Beta 1 update doesn’t seem good for daily use at the moment. However, early adopters and developers are always free to install it. There may be issues with Bluetooth connectivity and interruptions in Wi-Fi connection with a printer. Smart Lock may not work properly, and the camera may behave abnormally. Additionally, third-party apps may crash, indicating that the system is not stable overall.

OnePlus has released two different versions: “Stable official version” and “Open beta version,” namely OnePlus MP and OBT. European and Indian device users can follow the guide below for installation. Before proceeding with the installation, back up all your data as this process will format all user data.   • Download the ROM from the links given below.
  • Copy the zip file into the internal storage.
  • Go to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 7 times to enable developer options.
  • Go to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install -> Click on the ROM you downloaded -> Extract -> Upgrade -> System upgrade
  • Wait a while and tap Restart.
