Xiaomi teased the camera system of the Civi 4 Pro ahead of its scheduled March 21st launch. The camera system equips a Leica Optical Summilux lens (similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro) with a large aperture of f/1.63 and the 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion 800 sensor inside.

The Light Fusion 800 main sensor comes in a 1/1.55″ format.2.0 µm pixel size and a dynamic range of 13.2EV. It was first used by the Redmi K70 Pro that launched towards the end of last year. This is slightly smaller than the Xiaomi 14 Pro‘s 1/1.31″ Light Fusion 900 (OVX9000) main sensor.

Additionally, Leica Summilux lenses specialize in low-light photography. They use a special type of glass with unique reflection properties. The phone is expected to offer master portrait and other pro camera features designed to maximize the potential of the onboard hardware straight out of the camera

Previous teasers also revealed that the phone will be available in four different color options and will be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a cut-down version of the driving force of the 2024 flagships like the Galaxy S24 Series. This chip could place the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro as a flagship killer.

Speaking of the other aspects, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is expected to offer a 6.55 inch 1080p (2400×1080) OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. As compared to the predecessor, the Xiaomi Civi 3, the back design looks very similar with a slightly bigger circular camera module with the flash included inside.
