We have been hearing about the Xiaomi 14 series for a very long time. As per rumors, these products will be the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

Thus, they were expected to go official in November. That’s because Qualcomm’s next-gen flagship mobile SoC will be only unveiled at the end of this month.

But now, multiple sources say that these devices will be announced in October itself. Let’s go through the details.

ITHome reports that several bloggers on Weibo say that the Xiaomi 14 series will be launched on October 27. Even a Xiaomi store employee reiterates the same.

If this is true, then the upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphones will be unveiled the very next day of the Snapdragon Summit 2023. For the unaware, Qualcomm’s conference for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will take place from October 24 to 26 in Hawaii.

According to leaks and rumors, the Xiaomi 14 series will consist of Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, only the vanilla and pro models will be launched this year, while the ultra will be unveiled next year.

The duo will arrive with a revamped design. We even got our hands on the cases for the pro variant, which confirms the design changes.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro bear model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23116PN5BC, respectively. They were recently certified by 3C and TENAA.

Both of them will arrive with Leica-tuned cameras with three different focal lengths. Just like the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is also rumored to sport a titanium frame and satellite connectivity.

Last but not least, they will be the first devices to ship with MIUI 15 based on Android 14. This new version of Xiaomi’s mobile software is also anticipated to go official along with the phones.
