The Vivo Y01A houses an IPS LCD panel of 6.51 inches. It offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device. Instead, it is equipped with a face unlock feature for biometric authentication.

The display notch houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Its back panel has a squarish camera module, which houses an 8-megapixel camera and an LED flash. The phone runs on Android 11 (Go edition) and FunTouch OS 11.1.

The Y01A is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery. The device supports 10W charging via a microUSB port. It ships with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. For additional storage, the device is equipped with a microSD card slot.

The device offers other features like dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm and weighs around 178 grams.

The Vivo Y01A is priced at THB 3,999 (~$112) in Thailand. It can be purchased in colors like Sapphire Blue and Elegant Black. The device is also expected to be released in other markets in the coming days. Since the Y01A was certified by the BIS authority in June this year, it appears India could be one of the countries that will receive it.
