The new G16 Gaming laptop arrives as an affordable option and it packs a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The aspect ratio made it possible to fit the 16-inch display into the 15-inch chassis of the G15, meaning it isn’t bigger in size but the screen has 11% more screen space. The display also has support for a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, 300 nits of peak brightness, and G-Sync compatibility.

In terms of the internals, the G16 is powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 12700H processor. The chip has a 14-core architecture with a 20-thread chip bringing a maximum clock speed of 4.70GHz.  The laptop can be configured with up to 16GB of 4,800MHz DDR5 RAM. It also comes with 512GB storage on the base model. The storage can be upgraded to up to 2TB of total storage.Dell G16 Gaming laptop

The laptop is available in three video card options. There is an RTX 3050 Ti with 4GB of GDDR6 memory that can draw 90 watts of power on the base model. The second option is an RTX 3060 Ti GPU while the third is a 3070 Ti GPU that draws 140W of power and features 8GB of GDDR6 memory, making it suitable for a gaming laptop with a QHD display. The two higher models come with a Thunderbolt 4 port. All models come with HDMI 2.1, three USB-A connections, a headphone jack, and an Ethernet port. There is also WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity on all variants. The laptops are powered by either a 56WHr or 86WHr battery.Dell G16 Gaming laptop
