Oppo Enco X2 Earbuds are one of the best TWS earphones on the market with their immersive-sounding audio and amazing features. The earbuds are Hi-Res Audio certified and have an audio transmission rate of 900kbps thanks to the LHDC codec support. And today Oppo has rolled out a new update that brings LDAC ultra-clear transmission protocol support to the OPPO Enco X2.

Oppo previously announced that it will add LDAC codec support to the Enco X2 on June 8. True to its words, the company has today released a firmware update (Via ITHouse) that will introduce the LDAC codec to the Enco X2 earbuds.  The update will allow users with Android 8.0 and above to switch between LDAC and LHDC in the settings.

It is also reported that the first generation Oppo Enco X will start supporting the LHDC 4.0 protocol from June 16, and its maximum bit rate will be increased to 900kbps.

As compared to the OPPO Enco X, the OPPO Enco X2 uses a lighter diaphragm with a thickness of 0.0095mm and a DCCA voice coil with a wire diameter of 0.033mm, greatly reducing vibration system mass and decreasing weight by 31%.

The Oppo Enco X2 has a compelling feature set. For starters, the TWS earbuds come with Dynaudio tuning and are equipped with a SuperDBEE system coaxial dual-driver system. They feature quad magnet planar tweeters and 11mm dynamic drivers with an ultralight diaphragm.

As mentioned above, The new Enco earbuds are certified for wireless Hi-Res Audio, and come with Bluetooth v5.2, along with support for the LHDC 4.0 codec. It has a combined battery life rated at 40-hours of listening. In addition, the earbuds also feature active noise cancellation and dual device pairing.
