Oppo kickstarted last year with the launch of the Oppo A93 5G smartphone in China. Soon after that, the company unveiled the Oppo A94 in multiple markets in both 4G and 5G variants. Later the company launched the Oppo A95 5G and 4G models in China and Malaysia. Now, Oppo seems to be gearing up to launch the successor Oppo A96 5G soon as new renders of the phone have emerged on the Internet.

Thanks to @evleaks, we now have a clear look at the upcoming Oppo A96 5G. As per the images, the smartphone features a pristine look at the rear. It has a dual-camera system that looks much cleaner.

The camera island isn’t the obvious black like the predecessor, rather it is of the same colour as the back panel. The phone has an LED flashlight and a 5G branding besides the lenses.

Upfront, it has a punch-hole panel with thin bezels on all three sides except for the bottom. At the bottom, it has a thick chin. The phone seems to have an earpiece at the top, a power button on the right spin; and volume buttons, sim-card tray on the left.

The smartphone looks somewhat similar to the recently teased Oppo Reno7 series, Realme 9i, and the already available Realme GT Neo 2. The renders also confirm its color variants – Black, Pink, Blue Gradient(a mix of Blue & Purple).

Apart from this, the Oppo A96 5G may come with an AMOLED screen and could be powered by a mid-range 5G SoC. As of now, the specs for the phone are unknown but we may hear more about the phone soon.
