OnePlus will announce its first smartwatch this year, and if all goes well, it should arrive this quarter. The manufacturer is also expected to launch a fitness tracker that should hit markets as the OnePlus Band. Now, a leak has revealed more details including colors and watch faces of the OnePlus Watch and the fitness tracker.

The source of the leak is Nils Ahrensmeier (@NilsAhrDE) and he says he got the details from the OnePlus Health APK. To make it easier to understand we will group the info under the respective devices, starting with the OnePlus Watch.

OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Watch RX

The OnePlus Watch has the model number “W301GB” for the global version and “W301CN” for the Chinese version and it will be available in “obsidian black”. However, there is a chance that we will be getting more than one smartwatch as an image shared by the leaker shows that there is a second smartwatch called the OnePlus Watch RX. If the name sounds familiar, then that is because there is a watch called the OPPO Watch RX which is OPPO’s round-faced watch that was announced after the square-faced OPPO Watch. Surprisingly, the OPPO Watch RX is yet to go on sale since it was first announced in October.

Previous leaks have revealed that the OnePlus Watch has a round dial but now that there is a OnePlus Watch RX, there is a possibility that OnePlus may be planning to launch one watch with a square dial and another with a round dial. Our guess is that OnePlus will likely be rebadging the OPPO Watch and OPPO Watch RX.

The same image that mentions the OnePlus Watch RX also shows us a list of the sports modes and activities the two OnePlus Watches will be able to track. There are strings for swimming, badminton, “ball”, dance, elliptical machine, free training, and rowing machine. There are also strings for “exclusive”, “leisure”, “snow”, “water”, and “yoga”. We believe the watches will have support for more than the aforementioned sports and activities.

The leak also includes a ton of watch faces for the OnePlus Watch with a high percentage of them having a dark theme.

OnePlus Band

Nils has also found details of the OnePlus Band in the APK. First, there is a 3D render of the fitness tracker and it shows that it will come in black and have a matching strap with a ridged design.

Animated gifs shared by the leaker show that the OnePlus Band will have SpO2 measurement and will track steps and calories burnt. The gifs also show that the OnePlus Band will be operated with touch gestures.

The OnePlus Band is expected to launch next week, in India first, for under $40. We also expect it to get announced in other markets.

Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t include details such as the operating system powering the OnePlus Watch/Watch RX and if it will have a cellular modem. We also have no idea what the price tags of the watches will be.
