Xiaomi has launched a lot of smartphones this year in China, but there are fans who eagerly waiting for the arrival of the new MI MIX series phone. Last year, Xiaomi announced the Mi MIX Alpha concept phone in September. With just two months remaining for the year 2020 to end, Xiaomi is still mum on the arrival of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 that is expected to succeed the Mi MIX 3 5G that was announced in February 2019. Today, a reliable tipster from China claimed that Xiaomi will not be launching a new Mi MIX phone this year.

According to the tipster, there is no news about Xiaomi mass-producing a Mi MIX series smartphone this year. The Mi MIX branded phones by Xiaomi has always featured top-notch design and specs. However, it now appears that Xiaomi fans will get to see a new Mi MIX phone only in the coming year.

He added that Xiaomi has plans to mass-produce phones with technologies like under-display camera, 200W+ fast charging, and foldable phones with internal in-folding design. The flagship and high-end phones from Xiaomi only support Full HD+ resolution. It can be said based on the leak that the Chinese firm will launch more phones with Quad HD+ displays next year.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra that launched a few months ago supports 120W fast charging. The support for 200W+ on a smartphone sounds too be good to be true. Probably, it could be made available on a foldable phone that features a large capacity dual-part battery. As far as the under-display camera technology is concerned, it could be made on the Mi 20 series or even on a budget-friendly phone as ZTE did.
