Xiaomi has issued a recall notice for select units (actually a lot of units) of its Mi Electric Scooter (M365). The affected units are said to be affected by a safety issue that can cause the vertical component to break from the main body of the scooter when in use. The culprit is actually a screw in the folding mechanism that can come loose.

Xiaomi says it advises users to immediately stop using the Mi Electric Scooter for now until they are sure their unit isn’t part of the affected ones.
