Infinix has just launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. The device in question is the Infinix Note 40 5G, which is the brand’s latest mid-range device. It comes with capable specs and MagSafe compatible wireless charging. So let’s check it out.

Infinix Note 40 5G Specs

The Infinix Note 40 5G sports a tall 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. Under the hood, this device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. You can further expand storage by up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 33W wired fast charging and 15W wireless MagSafe charging.

This model runs on the Android 14 OS based XOS 14 custom skin out of the box. For optics, the rear features a 108-megapixel primary camera that is paired with a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a depth lens. Meanwhile, the front houses a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls. Infinix offers an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance on the Note 40 5G along with stereo speakers with tuning by JBL. Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.3, Dual 4G LTE, USB Type-C, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IR sensor.

Pricing and Availability

Infinix has released the Note 40 5G comes in two color options, namely Obsidian Black and Titan Gold. It is available for a lone storage configuration, which has a price tag of 19,999 INR (roughly 240 US Dollars). The smartphone will officially go on sale in India on 26th June 2024 and can be purchased from Flipkart. SBI, HDFC, and Axis Bank card holders can avail a 2,000 INR instant discount, and there is also an exchange bonus worth 2,000 INR. The brand is offering a free Infinix MagPad that is worth 1,999 INR in the box for a limited time period.
