Qualcomm is expected to unveil the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip in October of this year. Likely, the OnePlus 13 could be one of the first smartphones to arrive in the market with the SD8G4 chip onboard. As the launch of the OP13 is several months away, the rumor mill is gradually leaking details about it. Today, reliable leaker Digital Chat Station spilt some new details about the device.

OnePlus 13 display size revealed

According to DCS, the OnePlus 13 will have a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO screen with a micro-curved design. The screen will support a 2K resolution and is likely to be integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. The predecessor OnePlus flagships have optical under-display fingerprint sensors. As per DCS, the company is currently testing an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Hence, it remains to be seen whether it arrives on the final device.

The leak states that the OnePlus 13 will be equipped with a multi-focal camera system. Like the predecessor model, the OP13 will continue to feature a periscope telephoto camera for higher optical zoom.

Leaks dating back to February have claimed that the OnePlus 13 will have a new rear design. Today too, DCS claimed that the industrial design of the OP13 has been completely refreshed.

In the past, some of the Ace and numbered series flagship phones from OnePlus have sported similar rear designs. This year, the company has launched two Ace-series phones, named the Ace 3 and Ace 3V in China. The 3V sports a new vertical camera module as compared to the usual round-shaped camera design available on the Ace 3. It remains to be seen whether the OnePlus 13 offers a premium version design of the Ace 3V.
