We already know POCO is working on its first ever tablet model. But ahead of any official announcement, this tablet was spotted on major certifications, which revealed some of its key specs. The device could be dubbed the POCO Pad, so here are all the details.
POCO Pad visits FCC & Camera FV-5
POCO Pad is the Chinese brand’s first tablet and it was spotted on FCC carrying the 2405CPCFBG model number. This listing confirms that it will run on HyperOS 1.0 and WiFi 6. The database confirmed that it will ship with Xiaomi’s 33W charging adapter. Unfortunately, this was all the information revealed by this listing. On the other hand, the Camera FV-5 sighting reveals more details regarding its cameras.
The POCO Pad may feature an 8-megapixel camera on the rear that offers EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and an f/2.0 aperture. Meanwhile, the front packs another 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.3 aperture. To recall, the POCO Pad is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Pad Pro. That tablet model also came with 33W wired fast charging and HyperOS custom skin. This device also comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC that is paired with 8GB of RAM.
One of its notable aspects is the quad speaker setup, which arrives with Dolby Atmos audio. A massive 10,000mAh battery pack powers this tablet as well. It sports a tall 12.1-inch LCD panel that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 2.5K resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
