Anbernic has finally launched the RG35XX 2024 handheld gaming console. The portable gaming device was just recently spotted in a leak. And now, it has finally gone on sale with a design that is very reminiscent of the beloved Nintendo Game Boy.

The RG35XX 2024 arrives with some notable upgrades over the previous iterations. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Allwinner H700 chipset that is paired with 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM and dual card slots for storage that let’s you play thousands of games. These specs allow it to run a wide range of retro titles from the days of the SEGA Dreamcast, PlayStation 1, and even the Sony PSP.

This model sports a 3.5-inch IPS LCD screen that is housed in a compact 117 x 81 x 22mm body, which weighs just 186 grams. A 2,600mAh cell powers this device, which promises up to 7 hours of battery life. It supports a 2.4G wireless connection, HDMI output TV, and vibration motor. Another notable aspect of this device is undoubtedly its semi-transparent design and a Game Boy-like body.

The Anbernic RG35XX 2024 handheld gaming console has been unveiled in multiple color options. This includes Black, White, Gray, and Purple variants. It has a starting price tag of 49.99 US Dollars for the 64Gb model, whilst the 64GB + 128GB dual storage configuration costs 64.99 US Dollars. Back in November 2023, the brand even unveiled the RG35XX Plus gaming console to emulate the NES and PSP titles. Anbernic even released the PlayStation Portal-like RG556 handheld console last month.
