The OnePlus Nord 2, which launched back in July of 2021 got its final major update last year, which was OxygenOS 13, based on Android 13. That being said, the device has continued to receive regular incremental updates that mend any performance issues, bugs, or security threats to the device. Its latest update carries the latest Android security patch, getting rid of a bunch of vulnerabilities.

The new update for the Nord 2 is dubbed OxygenOS 13 F.51 and brings the March 2024 Android security patch. This patch fixes multiple security flaws, with two major ones that could potentially allow remote code execution, giving attackers unauthorized control of your device.

Other than that, the changelog does not mention any other changes. This update is currently only available to OnePlus Nord 2 users in India. This update is being gradually released, starting with a smaller audience before reaching a broader user base. Consequently, it may take a few days to weeks for the update to become available on all units. To check for the update manually, users can go to Settings > About > Software Update. If users encounter any problems with the new firmware, they can share feedback through the OnePlus Community or Google Dialer.
