Back in 2020, Xiaomi launched the Mi Box 4K streaming device, which got quite popular due to its affordable price and impressive capabilities and functions. Now, after almost 2 years, the company is reportedly gearing up to bring the second-generation model of the Xiaomi Box 4K. The streaming device has been spotted on an FCC certification site, hinting at its specifications and design. Here are the details.

The Xiaomi Box 4K (2nd gen) has appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website with model number MDZ-28-AA (Via). The listing also sheds some light on the device’s specifications and design.

As can be seen in the above image, the Xiaomi Box 4K (2nd Gen) has the same squircle shape as its predecessor. The form factor also looks very similar to the Apple TV 4K.

As you might have guessed by the name, the device will support streaming at up to 4K resolution. In addition, the Xiaomi TV stick will come with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 5G for connectivity. The Xiaomi Box 4K is listed to ship with all the required accessories. It will come with a remote, an HDMI extender cable, a 5W power adapter (5V-1A), and a Stick.
